ryc:  You are right, of course. 

I have always said (and am often corrected) that when you do dirt...it comes around to bite you in the ass....but people tell me that doesn't always happen.  But it does...and just because we don't "witness" it, doesn't mean there isn't accounting for it...on this earth or in Eternity. 

Our real heros are those who do...and are willing...to give up their lives for the sake of others.  The Great Example told us that...it is called love and 'no greater love hath a man than to give up his life for another' is as true now as it was then.  God bless our soldiers...all of them and God bless America.

@The_Ragged_Edge - Thanks for your nice nice compliments! I need to refresh my memory of where you live....you live up here too???? Wasilla? We took our little trailer into the boonies and had a blast these past six days and got home today...man, home...best part about goin' is gettin' back home, huh?!

Daughter will be working/training tomorrow from 3-8 she's also scheduled for Thursday and Friday looks like she'll be working about 5 hours a day.
We will work the birthday stuff around her schedule and DH's too of course. Fun!

And, yes she'll be using the little car, because of the gas mileage it gets. Son is the one that will miss it most!
